A peek into the world of tech - Spring 2017 trends

The first four months of 2017 have been busy for us in terms of consumer technology. We have been travelling all over the world to see the latest and greatest in developments from the tech world. Here is a rundown of our findings.

Technology moves fast, so to stay aware of the latest developments we organize regular tech updates. While the main goal is to keep our staff on top of things, we also feel that these updates are useful to share with our clients and the world! Below you will find our tech update for Spring 2017. This update focusses on conversational interfaces and the field of virtual reality and augmented reality.

Technology has played a major role in our operations recently here at VanBerlo. For example, a team of digital experts at our Eindhoven office explored the concept of combining conversational interface with the office coffee machine in our VanBerlo Hackathon project. You can read more about this exciting project here. Or if you just want to learn a little more about conversational interface in general, Bram wrote a piece that you can find here.

Consumer tech and trends are also things we like to keep up with in the field, by getting out and exploring the wider world of design. Two events in particular, that we had a great time visiting, were Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, and CES 2017 in Las Vegas. The links below will take you to comprehensive round ups of each day we spent at these events, and the innovative products we discovered.

Mobile World Congress: (MWC, Day One, Day Two)

CES 2017: (CES 2017, Day One, Day Two, Day Three, Recap)
